Spanish express

Because we had little time to do shopping this week-end, we did some panic buy while in our supermarket. Knowing what we already had in our cupboards, we settled on a "seafood paella". All we had to buy was a red pepper, a few onions, and bags of frozen squid rings, prawns/mussels mix, and peas. Basically, this is the same recipe as the one posted on July 26 (tag:"spanish - title "Ole"). The only differences being the pepper being fried with onions & garlic at the beginning, fish stock instead of chicken, and all the above frozen ingredients added towards the end of the cooking of the rice. (the squid rings have been pre-cooked for 30min. in the fish stock). Far from the real deal - obviously - but still, very tasty.

As for the wine, because of our limited knowledge on spanish white. the safer bet is a trusty friend from Bourgogne: Chablis Fourchaume Premier Cru 2014 from Régnard. Excellent.
