Set in the heart of the old Tallinn, cafe Maiasmokk (sweet tooth) is the
oldest operational cafe in Tallinn, and even Estonia. It has operated at the same location since 1864. The cafe is unique due to its interior, which has remained unchanged for almost a century. But the real stars of the show
are the pasties (filled with minced meat, sausages, ham, cheese or all kind of vegetables). Golden brown, fluffy and warm, these little pillows of goodness are just to die for. With a glass of Estonia's premier lager Saku, you're good to go for an entire afternoon.
Best cafe in town if you ask me.
Tässä kahvilassa on jotain miellyttävän pysähtynyttä. Tallinnassa tuntui olevan toinen tosiaan viihtyisämpiä kahviloita. Miksei meillä ole vieläkään kunnon kahvilakulttuuria.
