2 steaks made of mixed ground beef & pork, chopped spring onions's greens, salt & black pepper
Turkish or Libanese Salad
This is essentially a taboule. But instead of couscous, we've used Bulgur wheat as in Turkey or Lebanon. The salad is loaded with a lot of chopped mint/coriander/parsley, a teaspoon of ground cumin, chopped red onions/cucumber/tomato, olive oil, lemon juice, salt & black pepper. The salad has been prepared the day before.
The grilled steak is coated with Harissa mixed with a bit of olive oil.
Gotta say that the combo of everything is truly yummi. A glass of red is the perfect complement, but if the weather is really sunny and hot, a good dry white works as well.
Expresso & Amaretto liquor to round up the meal.
