Summer is short in Finland. Sadly.
That's why during spring/summer, the city's many terraces are packed with people enjoying sunshine and booze. But some would say they're too packed and sometimes very noisy. So, for the more discerning terrace enthusiasts among you, there's one place in Helsinki where you can enjoy the privilege of an exclusive spot: Ora restaurant. During the sunshine days, one table with two armchairs stand outside the restaurant. Of course it's primarily there for dinner. BUT, if you ask nicely chef Sasu Laukkonen… well like us, you can enjoy the only Michelin star terrace in town. (Ora opens @ 4pm Fridays & Saturdays)
