I'm not into rock. Never was and never will be!
Granted I'm missing a lot of great things but hey, c'est la vie.
Yet, I have 2 exceptions in my "no rock" attitude: Queen and The Clash.
And both for the same reason: musical open mindness. Both bands have been toying with different influences and genres (funk, opera, reggae, etc...), adding new depths and dimensions to their respective music .
Which brings the case of "Sean Flynn" on the table. This song puzzles me each time I hear it. It's like an musical UFO. A strange but wonderful mix of ballad, chillout, soft rock, ambient and... some goa accents.
In a nutshell, I don't know who to describe it exactly. What I know for sure is that I love this song so much. Gives me the chills each time I listen it. Absolutely my favorite from The Clash (with "Radio Clash" close 2nd).
God bless rock'n'roll for that!

Because Saila is working late, or we're out for evenings/nites more often...
it means "weekly dinner" these days.
